Over the years, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have pulled some crazy shenanigans, but this is definitely one of the most ridiculous.

With the help of the artificial intelligence program ChatGBT, the animal rights group created a book entitled, "The Book: PETA's Version of the Creation Story," which is a totally distorted version of the book of Genesis from the Bible.

According to CBN News, the book includes a religious, animal rights-themed message that’s "filled with vegan teachings” and explains a "cruelty-free Story of Creation."

In the book, animals are referred to as “beings” instead of “beasts” or “creatures.” Meanwhile, Adam and Eve use clothing from plants like hemp and bamboo instead of animal skins to cover themselves after the fall. And the insanity doesn't end there.

CBN News highlights some of the most ridiculous distorted stories, including a revised version of the story of Abraham and Sarah told in Genesis, chapter 21. According to the Bible, Abraham and Sarah were 100 and 90 years old when Sarah gave birth to their son, Isaac. But in PETA's version, they also adopt a dog named Herbie, emphasizing the importance of adopting dogs from a shelter or a rescue organization instead of getting one from a breeder.

A rewritten Chapter 22 shows Abraham traveling to Moriah and befriending a lamb in order to show his reverence and respect for God's creation, a pretty stark deviation from the original text which Abraham was tested and proven faithful, leading God to spare his son Isaac and provide a substitute sacrifice of a ram as an offering.

According to PETA President Ingrid Newkirk, the original Biblical text is offensive.

"The Bible has long been used to justify all forms of oppression, so we've used ChatGPT to make it clear that a loving God would never endorse exploitation of or cruelty to animals," she said in a press release. "It took God only six days to create the entire world, but we realized it would take us years to rewrite the whole Bible, which is why we've started with just the first book."

PETA also admitted that they rewrote the Word of God in order to promote their own activist agenda.

"We asked an AI to create The Book as a modern companion to the Bible, and we're pleased with the results, because this complementary piece provides readers with moral lessons relevant to the world of the 21st century," the group said. "We expected that The Book would initiate vital conversations about treating all sentient beings with dignity, kindness, and respect—and it has done exactly that!"

This is not the first time that leftwing activists have proposed changing the Bible with AI to fit their agenda. Last month, the World Economic Forum revealed a plan to change the Bible by using AI in order to make the religion “more correct.”
