O'Reilly: Europe Getting What It Deserves With 'Muslim Invasion'

On his show Tuesday, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, pinned a great deal of the blame for the current influx of Syrian refugees into Europe on the European Union itself:

"The cold truth is Europe is getting what it deserves."

In a segment entitled "The Dramatic Muslim Invasion," O'Reilly opined that - had Europe "stepped up" in its response to the conflicts in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Syria - those conflicts could have been contained and the Islamic exodus from those nations to Europe could have been avoided.

“A combination of cowardice and bad policy has led to one of the biggest mass migrations in history,” O’Reilly concluded.

O'Reilly also blamed President Obama and former President Bush for facilitating the crisis.

"In 2013, Mr. Obama learned that Syrian dictator, Bashar Al-Assad, was using poison gas to kill innocent civilians. Innocent people.  Mr. Obama threatened Assad with military action and Europe should have immediately supported that. But, the European leaders did nothing and Mr. Obama backed down."

When, President Obama declined to enforce the "red line" he had drawn in the sand when it came to Syria using chemical weapons, Obama claimed that he was waiting for Congressional approval before he took action in the region.

"Of course, Congress didn't do anything and ISIS gained power in Syria, murdering thousands of people along the way, " said O'Reilly.

"Now, millions of Syrians are fleeing their own country, heading for Turkey and Europe."

"In Europe right now, the crisis is so intense, the entire European Union may collapse."

"It will take decades before the migrants assimilate into European society, if they ever do."
