While Jesus of Nazareth basically walked everywhere and sometimes used a donkey, ministers today who spread the good news are taking it up a notch. Minister Creflo Dollar has asked his congregation for 65 million dollars to buy him a new private jet.

Dollar, a mega-church televangelist pastor from the Atlanta area and founder of the non-denominational World Changers Church International, is seeking $300 donations from 200,000 people.

Dollar's website, which has since been taken down, showcased a project page and video request for a new Gulfstream G650 private jet to transport Dollar and members of his team around the globe to spread the gospel.

CNN reports that, in the video request, Dollar says his current jet has been serving him for over 30 years and has had a couple of incidents like an engine going out on the way to Australia and a mechanical failure that caused the jet to veer off the runway while his three daughters were onboard:

"Dollar attributed his family's safe arrival to "a grace working on that airplane, that brought my girls back home to me, you understand what I am saying?" he said from the pulpit to thunderous applause.

Dollar said that after those incidents, he "knew that it was time to begin to believe God for a new airplane," writes CNN.

Have a look at the Gulfstream's website to see the amazing technical and physical aspects of this plane, said to be their biggest, fastest, and most luxurious jet.

"Money by itself cannot define prosperity," Mr. Dollar told the NYT, "When you say, 'prosperity,' people think money. They are not incorrect, but they are incomplete."
