One Legged Man Shows Insane Grit on 'American Ninja Warrior'

Artis Thompson III, who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident after losing his brother in a motorcycle accident, shocked the world when he first appeared on “American Ninja Warrior” last year and showed what hard work looks like. He returned to the show this season and demonstrated true grit.

Thompson first appeared on “American Ninja Warrior” with his prosthetic leg and ran the most of his qualifier round with a breeze. During one obstacle, his prosthetic leg didn’t have good enough traction and he fell. Apparently, not only did he challenge himself to become an “American Ninja Warrior” with a prosthetic leg, he also did it with a partially torn ACL in his good leg.

Thompson returned to “American Ninja Warrior” this season. The “American Ninja Warrior” course is not an easy course. While completing the course, Thompson needed to demonstrate amazing upper body strength and balance to make it as far as he did in the course. Sadly, while he didn’t complete the course, his effort was inspiring nevertheless.
