No matter what anyone, from any walk of life, wants to tell me about the border, I’ll believe what I actually see and the ‘hopefully accurate’ data I read. I live in the Washington D.C. area. I’ve seen the changes over the last two to three years. You think it’s an accident that, literally, every other vehicle driven around here has a “Student Driver” or “New Driver” sticker on it? Or was there some kind of baby boom in the area 15 to 17 years ago?

What am I getting at here? The bottom line is that the United States of America has been invaded. And whether it’s with the complicity of President Joe Biden’s regime or simply because of the ignorance of it, the “best” from all over the world have received a free pass to enter this country, while the rest of us wonder whether we can afford lunch on a particular day.

That’s why I can appreciate the candor of someone like Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) — and not just because he’s a Republican. I admire the vernacular he uses and the way he uses it, because he makes the people he’s questioning feel stupid while trying to get the answers the American public want to know.

And these people should be shamed and made to feel stupid, because they’ve intentionally or ignorantly betrayed our trust.

Enter Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

During a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Wednesday, Kennedy got his five minutes to talk to and question Mayorkas, who is an expert at filibustering and wasting committee members time with non-answers or sanitized answers that couldn’t possibly implicate himself in his incompetence.

With Mayorkas facing impeachment proceedings, Kennedy decided to take part of his time and tell him why. However, on this day, Kennedy took a more serious tone, telling Mayorkas repeatedly that he doesn’t hate Mayorkas, or anyone else for that matter. He also said that what he was telling the secretary gave him no pleasure in doing.

“It gives me no joy to say this,” Kennedy said, “but most Republicans don’t trust you. And a vast majority of the American people don’t trust you. That’s why you’ve been impeached.”

While that might seem like a simple statement to most, it’s quite profound to outright say to a member of a president’s cabinet. But, what other recourse do we have?

The sick part of it all is that people within the Biden regime, people like Mayorkas, either do a really good job of making others think they’ve done nothing wrong or that they’re doing the best they can, or they’re really good at covering up that they just don’t care about anything the American public might possibly be concerned about.

THIS is what happens when you create a society where everyone’s a special little flower, where everyone gets a trophy, where everyone can do no wrong. There’s no accountability, anywhere, for either intentionally or ignorantly destroying a country that was once the example for all others.
