White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is what you get when you hire someone based on their identifiers despite them having no real qualifications for the job. We’ve had some inept press secretaries before on both sides of the aisle, but Jean-Pierre seems to take the cake when it comes to being a puppet of her superiors.
New York Post reporter Steven Nelson called Jean-Pierre out on Wednesday for not calling on him for a question “in two seasons.” In response, Jean-Pierre gave Nelson her usual flippant attitude, dismissing him from being able to ask a question after he said something.
“You haven’t called on me in two seasons, Karine,” Nelson said.
“And I’m not calling on you today,” Jean-Pierre responded.
Well, Nelson wasn’t having any of that and decided to say the quiet part out loud.

“You should be ashamed of that," Nelson fired back. "That shows disrespect to a free and independent media to blacklist one of our country’s largest and most widely read newspapers, Karine. That shows contempt for a free and independent press.”

Some people might call out the press secretaries of former President Donald Trump for doing the same, but actually their methods at times was quite different. They would call on the conservative outlets first many times, because they would never get called on, and then call on the establishment propaganda media outlet reporters. So, most times, everyone would get to ask a question. At the very least they wouldn’t go five or six months without being called on.
The tactics of President Joe Biden’s regime are that which confuses, obfuscates and conceals the failures of said regime. They just won’t talk about it. And even when someone does get to ask a substantive question, Jean-Pierre uses her aforementioned flippancy to dodge having to answer questions that people might want to know.
