During Wednesday evening's fourth GOP presidential primary debate emanating from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and hosted by NewsNation, GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy took his "Nikki Haley is corrupt" tactic to another level by holding up a literal sign written on his clipboard of notes that read, "Nikki = Corrupt."

The move was met with boos from the debate audience. And when asked if the former South Carolina governor cared to respond, Haley declined.

Ramaswamy responded to the boos by calling out what he referred to as a "double standard," meaning he believes in the perception that women are somehow exempt from criticism.

"I reject the use of identity politics in this party," Ramaswamy said. "It has been a cancer coming from the left, and I’m sick and tired of the double standards. The people of this country are too. Having two X chromosomes does not immunize you from criticism."
