Leave it to people who have armed security at pretty much every event they attend to preach to the rest of us on how we need to do more to take “common sense” measures to control and prevent gun violence.

Musicians like Sheryl Crow, Billy Eilish, Niles Rogers, Peter Gabriel and others joined Artist For Action to Prevent Gun Violence, which is led by a Sandy Hook Elementary School victim’s father Mark Barden, came out with a video calling on more measures to prevent gun violence.

“If the people on Capitol Hill aren’t going to do the work, then we’re just going to get louder and louder until it’s unavoidable,” Crow said.

Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild said that “I’m not coming for your guns, I just want common sense.”

Okay, well then how would any of them go about “preventing gun violence?” None of them had any suggestions or ideas, just that it needed to happen.

There’s no word on how any of them would combat the avenue in which the majority of “gun violence” occurs — through illegal use of unregistered firearms.

Funny, how they never address that aforementioned tidbit.
