I don't if "admire" is the right word to describe the unabashed hubris of those within President Joe Biden's regime when they respond to...well, anything. Maybe "awe" is better? Yeah, one has to stand in awe of the placation, excuses and incompetent meanderings of Biden's minions.

Enter White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

When asked if Biden is doing anything, policy wise, to combat the recent uptick in gas prices - 20 cents over the last month, according to AAA - Jean-Pierre gave her usual response, which is to say that prices are down from when Biden made them the highest prices ever.

"I will note that gas prices remain well below their peak back in 2022. I think that's important," she said. "And the average gas price right now is cheaper than this time last year."

Jean-Pierre said some other stupid s**t, but you can see and hear for yourselves below:

Saying gas prices are down from this time last year is not the flex she thinks it is considering at the same point last year gas prices were only three cents higher ($3.668/gal. compared to now, $3.634/gal.).

When a regime like Biden's stops domestically drilling for oil, imports oil from other countries at a premium and empties our Strategic Reserves just so they don't look like tyrants when it comes to the price, then I guess they would be impressed with themselves when they set an all-time record for highest average gas prices and lowering it to what it is now, which is still way too high.

Pull the other leg, KJP, because you're not bright enough to convince us of any "victory," especially when it comes to things that affect real Americans' pocketbooks.
