The establishment fear mongers of the world, like Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), would like everyone to believe they need to live in fear of our government’s alphabet agencies. In this case, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) — who does have some good people working for them — would like you to live in fear if you have certain political beliefs. Think gestapo, but often wearing civilian clothes masquerading as the people they’re targeting.

According to an exclusive report by Newsweek, the FBI has been and still is targeting supporters of former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Newsweek reported:

The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current "anti-government" investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.

So, if my comprehension of the English language is still at least average, the FBI isn’t supposed to target “political parties or affiliations” without evidence of domestic terrorism. And yet, they’re doing it to Trump supporters anyway.

Supposedly, the FBI is doing this to prevent another January event that shall remain nameless, but they fear that doing what they’re doing could exacerbate a new conflict.

"The FBI is in an almost impossible position," says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.

"Especially at a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has 'weaponized' the Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully," says the official.

It wouldn’t matter if the FBI was doing this to Biden supporters. Wrong is wrong. And weaponizing the DOJ, which Attorney General Merrick Garland denies despite the FBI being part of the Department of Justice, might need to be investigated further if Newsweek’s FBI source’s claims are, in fact, true.

Justice is supposed to be blind, not hold a hunting license.
