While the Associated Press (AP) did report on the dozens of far-left extremists who were indicted on Tuesday in Georgia, they did their best to downplay the violence carried out by these “mostly peaceful protesters.”

Georgia’s Republican Attorney General Chris Carr released what the AP called a “sweeping indictment” to 61 people for their roles in violent protests against the planned construction of a training facility for police and firefighters, critically referred to as “Cop City.”

Of course, these extremists hate police and felt that the plan would only “militarize” cops. Ironically, Carr conveyed that the defendants are “militant anarchists.”

The defendants are being charged with racketeering, or conspiring to violently oppose “Cop City,” calling their movement “Stop Cop City.”

The AP reported:

Among the defendants: more than three dozen people already facing domestic terrorism charges in connection to violent protests; three leaders of a bail fund previously accused of money laundering; and three activists previously charged with felony intimidation after authorities said they distributed flyers calling a state trooper a “murderer” for his involvement in the fatal shooting of a protester.

But, the AP did downplay the severity of the extremists actions, reporting, “The ‘Stop Cop City’ effort has gone on for more than two years and at times veered into vandalism and violence.”

“Veered?” “At times?”

Podcaster and independent journalist Tim Pool spoke about the AP’s mischaracterization of the actions of the “Stop Cop City” extremist group.

“Is that what you call shooting at police, burning down homes, tearing people from their vehicles, flipping them over and setting them on fire?” Pool posited. “Yeah, I call that terrorism.”

In the title of his video segment on the story, Pool refers to the defendants as “Antifa,” who are a violent, extreme-left group.

“Chris Carr may try to use his prosecutors and power to build his gubernatorial campaign and silence free speech, but his threats will not silence our commitment to standing up for our future, our community, and our city,” the Cop City Vote coalition said in a statement, according to the AP.

That’s a hilarious statement coming from people who violently oppose anyone who dares speak any opinion or facts that don’t align with their cultish hive mind.

As the old saying goes, ‘If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.’
