Jean Camara is suing Costco for discrimination towards him based on his religion. Costco is well-known for accommodating and treating employees exceptionally well so what could this possibly be over?

Apparently, Mr. Camara was a cashiers' assistant and, out of nowhere, pork products started to come down the conveyor toward him. He refused to touch the pork as well as alcohol products.

". . .When he informed his managers, they transferred him outside to gather shopping carts, and said they never gave him a reason as to why." WCVB

He requested to be moved from cart duty to the electronics department which was denied, and 16 days later was let go for insubordinate conduct (after filing a human rights complaint).

"I think that as the case progresses in the trial we are in now, I think the facts are going to come out and they're going to speak for themselves," said Chauncey Henry, Camara's attorney. WABC

Mr. Camara said "We all share different beliefs so we all should be treated equally no matter what belief we have."
