In a move that tests the very boundaries of hypocrisy, the taxpayer-subsidized abortion giant Planned Parenthood issued a press release Wednesday commemorating the start of Black History Month, despite the group’s long track record of genocide against black children.
“During Black History Month, we must recommit ourselves to improving the lives of Black communities through quality education and affordable health care — while celebrating the legacy of past African-American trailblazers and a new generation of leaders in the United States,” said Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards in the statement.
But following that, the group spent precious little space praising the achievements of notable black Americans (who had the great fortune of actually being born) and instead focused on their own “commitment” to providing minority communities with necessary “health care.”
It’s hard to distinguish exactly which element of Planned Parenthood’s story is the most horrific when it comes to their actual, documented treatment of minorities, particularly blacks.
Perhaps it’s the fact that Planned Parenthood aborts a grossly disproportionate percentage of black babies compared to white ones, vastly diminishing the black community’s ability to produce new Beyoncés, Mia Loves or Martin Luther Kings. In fact, nearly half of all black children conceived in the U.S. are aborted. A full 35 percent of all abortion victims are black, despite blacks making up only about 13 percent of the U.S. population.
Or perhaps it’s the fact that 79 percent of all Planned Parenthood clinics are located in low-income areas, specifically targeting the most desperate women in the most vulnerable situations and urging them toward abortion. (After all, most of their clinics don’t provide prenatal care for women who want to keep their babies, providing them with no financial incentive to encourage a mother to choose life.)
Or, perhaps it’s the fact that Planned Parenthood began as the vomitus brainchild of Margaret Sanger, a genocidal fanatic who openly advocated for aborting black children as a means of minority population control and regularly fraternized with white supremacists.
In truth, Planned Parenthood honoring Black History Month is about as offensive as Charles Manson wishing Sharon Tate a posthumous happy birthday on Facebook.
