After receiving treatment for cancer, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan posted a lighthearted Facebook status sporting his “new aerodynamic look.”

Donning a pair of shades and a newly bald head, Hogan posted on Facebook, “It looks like there is another white dome in the Annapolis State House! Thanks to my treatments, I'm sporting a new aerodynamic look.”

Hogan continued, “I'm saving time not having to wash or comb my hair, and I don't even need to shave my face! The First Lady says I'm still sexy. I may be losing hair follicles, but I'm winning the battle as we kill cancer cells like crazy. So yes - the new look is a bit of a shock at first, but to me, bald is beautiful!”

Along with his post, Hogan included the hashtag #HoganStrong, an organization dedicated to the governor's battle that donates proceeds from its merchandise sales to fighting cancer.

Hogan just recently finished his second, five day round of chemotherapy.

In June, Hogan announced he is suffering from a “very advanced and very aggressive” form of cancer that has spread throughout his entire body.

Hogan has stated he will continue to serve as governor while receiving treatment and that his prognosis looks good.
