Man Wins Lottery After Accidentally Purchasing Wrong Ticket

Tim Dionisopoulos | June 29, 2015

A Connecticut man probably just made the luckiest mistake of his life.

Bob Sabo of Easton, CT had never bought a lottery ticket from a vending machine before.

Having forgotten his glasses at home, Sabo meant to purchase two $20 tickets, but accidentally purchased one $30 ticket.

After getting home, and presumably putting on his glasses, Sabo realized his mistake had just made him $30,000 richer.

The Associated Press, who originally posted the story said the store will receive $300 for selling the top prize.

Talk about falling upwards.
