Local Reporter Gets Canned After Going Berserk On the Cops At a Club

One reporter found herself on the news after a night out led to her assaulting multiple club employees and screaming obscenities and threats at the police.

Multiple news outlets reported an incident between Colleen Campbell, a now former news reporter, and the police Tuesday after Campbell was escorted off a Philadelphia Helium Comedy Club for “loud whispering” during a show. After being escorted out of the club, she can be seen on a cell phone video berating police officers and using foul language.

Wil Sylvince, a local comedian, took a nearly five-minute video of the incident starting when Campbell was escorted out. Sylvince claimed in a Facebook post that Ms. Campbell also assaulted three club employees by kicking, punching, and poking them in the eyes as she was being escorted outside.

“No wonder everybody wants to blow your f---ing heads off,” Campbell can be heard screaming at the police in the video, calling them "f---ing c--ksuckers" along with other expletives.

During her arrest, she also screamed at the officer to stop tasing her, even though she was only being handcuffed.

At the time, Campbell was employed by local TV station PHL17 and has since been terminated. According to Phillymag.com, Campbell is being charged with simple assault, making terroristic threats, hindering apprehension, and failure to disperse. She continues to claim that she was drugged at some point during her night out, saying she remembers almost nothing about the night and her actions throughout, and that she is deeply apologetic about the whole thing.

The police officer that she verbally abused has been hailed as the most patient cop due to his unflappable demeanor.
