In a video posted on her Twitter account on Wednesday, Lena Dunham praised her father for his thoughts on “the extinction of white men.”

The 30-second animation features Lena’s father, Carroll, answering Lena’s question about his thoughts on genocide against white men.

In the video, Lena matter-of-factly asks Carroll, “How are you feeling about the extinction of white men?”

“Well, white men are a problem—straight white men are a big problem,” Carroll, a straight white man, responds. “That’s for sure.”

“But I actually feel pretty good about it. I think, uh, straight white guys have been screwing things up for long enough. It’s high-time for straight white males to, uh, step back and let some other people do it,” Carroll continues.

“That’s my dad,” Lena cheerfully replies.

The video claims the conversation took place in 2016. The animation for the video was done by Sophie Koko Gate.
