Kirk Cameron is having another national family meeting.

On October 24 the actor will host “Revive Us 2,” a sequel to his successful 2016 “Revive Us.”

A Christian revival meeting broadcast from the brand-new Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. and simulcast in movie theaters around the country, “Revive Us 2” airs Tuesday, October 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET. A rebroadcast of the live event will play on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m.

"When we did ‘Revive Us,' the overwhelming response from our audience was thankfulness for such an encouraging event during such a divisive time," Cameron said in a press release. "Spontaneous prayer sessions broke out afterward in theaters to pray for our nation! Thousands committed to putting faith in action. But that event wasn't a finish line. It was a starting line. With political, racial, economic and religious tensions on the rise in America, we need unity and a path to get there now more than ever. ‘Revive Us 2' seeks to find a faith-filled solution for everyone.”

In a promotional video posted on his Facebook page, Cameron says, “An awakening has begun. There’s been a shift in our culture. A fresh momentum is building. God is unleashing something that is uniting heaven and earth. And what God joins together, nothing can separate.”

Cameron will bring together friends such as Dr. Ben Carson, Francis Chan, Ravi Zacharias, Joni Eareckson Tada, Trillia Newbell, musical guests Zach Williams and Christian Cuevas and other special guests for "a night of hope, courage and unity."
