While more than a few GOP candidates slammed the mainstream media for biased moderating and reporting during the third GOP debate Wednesday, it all came up roses for Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio) -- who actually defended the CNBC moderators in the spin room following the event.

The presidential hopeful told MRCTV he “thought they did a good job,” saying he was “very appreciative of how they did their job.” "I had time" to speak and discuss the issues - and, this time, the debate "wasn't a circus," Kasich said.

Kasich’s opinion that the moderators treated the candidates fairly certainly wasn’t shared by several of his Republican opponents on stage in Boulder, Colo. Both Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) garnered thunderous applause and even a standing ovation for calling out the media for slanted questions during the debate, with Rubio going so far as to call the media the “ultimate Super PAC.”
