John Holdren Claims His Past Work is Only Problematic if 'You're Misreading it'

In an interview with CNS News, a fellow division of the Media Research Center, that has been sorely overlooked Obama's science czar John Holdren took a condescending tone towards his critics. Apparently Holdren believes that if you find his abhorrent ideas repulsive or even questionable then you're the one with the problem. Oh... hes also a whinny little girl who runs away even when confronted by one of the most mild-manured reporters I've ever met, Nicholas Ballasy:

Here is a quick round up of those absurd positions Holdren has advocated which we've all, apparently, been misreading from CNS News's story (make sure you read the whole thing):

Holdren has co-authored works in the past that called for a campaign to “de-develop the United States” and said people need to eventually face up to a “world of zero net physical growth.” He also co-authored a passage that said: “The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being. Where any of these essential elements is lacking, the resultant individual will be deficient in some respect.”

Yea... I guess I must be misreading these positions because they seem pretty damn problematic to me. I mean it almost seems as though John Holdren is a radical nutbag who thinks we should purposely destroy our economy and that children aren't human beings even several years after having been born. Clearly Holdren can't be a radical nutbag though because he was appointed by the most moderated, thoughtful, and intelligent president to ever grace the office. So I guess Holdren is right and the real problem in understanding here lies with the unwashed masses who take his words to mean what they're supposed to mean...
