Germany: 26 Women Were Sexually Assaulted By Refugees This Past Weekend

Twenty-six women were sexual assaulted by migrants during a four-day long music festival in Darmstadt Germany last weekend.

According to local reports, the women were surrounded and groped while they were dancing by what authorities are assuming was the same group of men, based on the common M.O.

“Unfortunately, several women were sexually harassed on Saturday when the dance floor area was completely packed,” the police said in a statement, as cited by Die Welt.

The Daily Mail reports that three male Pakistani asylum-seekers have been arrested and charged with sexual crimes. If the courts find the refugees guilty, they will be deported back to their homeland. While they await trial, police continue to search for approximately two or three more men reportedly involved in the incidents.

The Daily Caller reports:

The story in Darmstadt is yet another example of rampant sexual assault committed amidst refugees bringing their home culture to Germany. While Germany has instituted a series of programs to teach refugees how to properly flirt with women, it’s unclear how effective these programs actually are, especially given the fact that Germany took in approximately 1.1 million refugees in 2015 alone.

While Germany is expected to take in another 600,000 more refugees this year, it doesn’t seem as if Chancellor Angela Merkel will consider placing a cap on the amount of people the country admits.

The German chancellor dismissed influential Bavarian leader Horst Seehofer's suggestion for a cap on refugees in 2016, as tensions mount between Merkel's Christian Democrats and their sister party in the South.

It may be politically incorrect to oppose taking in refugees, but the practice is clearly contributing to a perilous situation. There is substantial evidence showing that women are no longer safe in Germany. Let’s not forget what took place on New Years Eve at Cologne’s central station, in which 1,000 women were inappropriately fondled, robbed, intimidated and/or separated from their friends. That event alone resulted in 454 reports of sexual assault. Police were also notified of an additional 351 sexual assault cases that took place that same evening in a different location.

Gatestone Institute reported, “sexual violence in Germany has skyrocketed since Angela Merkel allowed more than one million mostly male migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East into the country.”

Even though it has probably expanded since, the website includes an extensive list of Germany’s sexual assault cases involving migrants between January and February of 2016.
