Elderly Man Comes Home to Find Half His Driveway Cut Off by New Neighbor

A man in Osceola County, Florida is dealing with an incoming neighbor who takes entitlement to a whole new level.

79-year-old Oliver Lynch recently returned home to find that half of his driveway had been claimed by the rather ornery neighbor who just can’t seem to stop himself from declaring an over 25-year-old stretch of pavement as his.

Cinder blocks were meticulously placed and cemented in a line to deny Lynch the portion of the driveway the neighbor says is on his property.

Whatever will a man do without those 12 feet pavement?

The supposed minister who is hoping to move in declined to say. Though 12 feet is certainly enough to host a raucous cookout, right? Especially when it is exactly no-feet away from another man’s driveway.

“I just hate to be bullied,” Lynch said. “I have little fight left in me, and I hate to see somebody bulldoze over me.”

Lynch has records that show that two 12-foot driveways are allowed side-by-side and, though city officials agree with him, he has been advised to take the matter up in court.

Lynch stated that he has, indeed, spoken with the man, who refuses to budge even an inch from his land-grab.

"He said he was a minister or something like that. A God-fearing man. But I don't think that's very Christian," Lynch said.
