Some female supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders are not too happy with Madeline Albright after the former Secretary of State insinuated that women who don't support Sanders' rival Hillary Clinton will be going to Hell.

As for Clinton, she got a real kick out of Albright's statement.

Here's the video of Albright's statement:

Female backers of Sanders didn't think the comment was very funny at all.

“Well, I don’t want to think that I have to vote for a woman, being a woman, because there’s a woman running," said Sanders supporter Cokie Giles, a registered nurse from Bangor, Maine. "They have to be who I would look at as … my best choice."

Giles also told reporters that she doesn't appreciate being “herded along just because I’m a woman."

Other women who attended a recent rally for Sanders in New Hampshire also said they were "offended" by Albright's remarks.

For her part, Clinton defended Albright on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday, where she referred to Albright's statement as “a light-hearted but very pointed remark” from a woman who “knows what a struggle it has been."
