Earlier today we went out on the streets of Alexandria to ask people what they thought about the media's spin on the Arizona shooting. We specifically wanted to know if people actually believe that Sarah Palin had anything at all to do with what motivated the shooter. Here's what they had to say:
Essentially, despite the fact that we didn't talk to a single Republican or conservative, everybody agreed that Sarah Palin was not responsible for what happened. In fact most of them didn't like the implication and thought Palin and conservatives had nothing to do with what happened at all. Inevitably some of the liberals we talked to still didn't like Palin or what she advocates for and seemed perfectly happy to talk about how she needs to shut up even after admitting she wasn't responsible for what happened.
Unfortunately it was so cold out that our hand held microphone wasn't working and the on camera microphone picked up a lot of wind sheer. Sorry about that.
