President-elect Donald Trump will be counting down to the New Year at his resort in Mar-a-Lago, Fla., along with more than 800 guests, including none other than actor and Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone, The Hill reports

Incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer said during a transition call on Friday that the list of attendees will include Stallone and music producer Quincy Jones.

His wife Melania and youngest son Barron will also be in attendance. There was no definitive word on the rest of his family.

Stallone – best known for his roles in Rocky and Rambo – was rumored earlier this month to be one of the President-elect's picks for chairman of the National Endowment of the Arts.

He told an editor at Buzzfeed that while he was “incredibly flattered to have been suggested” for the position, he thinks he “could be more effective” in efforts that bring national attention to veterans’ needs for gainful employment and affordable housing.

Stallone has long been a fan of Trump.

In an interview with Variety magazine in January, he praised Trump as a “bigger than life” character.

“I love Donald Trump,” said Stallone. “He’s a great Dickensian character. You know what I mean? There are certain people like Arnold [Schwarzenegger], Babe Ruth, that are bigger than life."

"But I don’t know how that translates to running the world,” he added.

Despite supporting Arizona Sen. John McCain (R) in his 2008 presidential run, Stallone has refused to identify as either a Republican or Democrat.

“May the best fighter win,” he told Variety. “I don’t think you can be totally one-sided forever. Then you close your mind to all sorts of possibilities. It’s just, ‘Who comes along better at that time for what the planet is going through?’ Right now, it’s pretty confusing on every side.”
