On Tuesday, the day after the Pulitzer Prizes recognized members of the media who pushed liberal ideology, the Media Research Center announced the winners of its annual Bulldog Awards honoring the integrity of true journalists.
Just as the legacy media refuse to report vital news that doesn’t advance the liberal narrative, members of the leftist media establishment, like Pulitzer, ignore the accomplishments of journalists who richly deserve accolades. Thus, the MRC’s Bulldog Awards program was born to recognize truthful media, as MRC President Brent Bozell III explains:
“Like everything else the left controls, major journalism awards are rigged to reward people who advance their most radical agenda priorities. If you want to win a Pulitzer, write about 'climate change' or 'systemic racism' or 'reproductive health' or promote ‘Russian collusion.’
“If you want to win a Bulldog Award, tell the truth.”
The 2024 Bulldog Awards honor seven conservative media members for their honest, unbiased, essential journalism:
- Lifetime Achievement: Historian and Author Victor Davis Hanson
- Outstanding Podcast: Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro
- Outstanding Social Media Personality: Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon
- Outstanding Columnist: Washington Examiner and New York Post Columnist Salena Zito
- Outstanding Investigative Journalism: Author and Government Accountability Investigative Journalist Peter Schweizer
- Outstanding Blogger: Daily Wire reporter and Video Journalist Kassy Akiva
- Outstanding Radio Talk Show Host: nationally-syndicated Salem Radio Host Dennis Prager
