Tim McGraw will be making the day extra special for veteran families this Fourth of July.
McGraw has announced his plan to award 36 mortgage-free homes to veterans along the 36 stops of his tour “Shotgun Rider.”
"[These are] people who have given us security for a lot of years," McGraw said. "And we're able to do that back for them in a small way."
McGraw is not new to making charitable donations in honor of our vets. During a three year partnership with Chase and non-profit Operation HomeFront, McGraw has been a part of over 100 home donations to vets.
Additionally, Tim has some important connections to the military which make his involvement even more personal.
