Competitive Eater Downs 9 Pounds of Turkey in Just 10 Minutes to Set Record

In the field of competitive eating, Thanksgiving has come just a little bit earlier than expected.

Competitive eater Joey Chestnut decided to down nine pounds of turkey in just ten minutes at the World Turkey Eating Championships Saturday.

Each contestant was given a 20-pound turkey and ten minutes to eat as much of it as humanly possible.

Chestnut gobbled down almost ten pounds of Turkey- which was enough to set a new world record and walk away with $5,000.

For one man to eat that much turkey, that's an incredible amount of turkey to have.
