A professor of Economics at Riverside City College in Southern California defended the legacy of mass-murdering, communist revolutionary Soviet dictator, Joseph Stalin.
Dr. Asatar Bair, a self-proclaimed “communist,” praised the dictator in a tweet as “one of the greatest leaders” of the 20th century, Fox News reported.
I would certainly conclude that he is one of the great leaders of the 20th c though

Historian Roy Aleksandrovich Medvedev estimated that Stalin’s regime in the former Soviet Union (USSR) killed at least 20 million, not including the 20 million USSR soldiers that died during the second world war, according to the International Business Times.
Despite Stalin being a mass-murderer, Bair still defends Stalin because of “the results achieved by Soviet socialism for the masses of ordinary working people, including a massive increase in life expectancy…and improved health,” he shared in a tweet.
My new friends, I defend Stalin because of the results achieved by Soviet socialism for the masses of ordinary working people, including a massive increase in life expectancy (one of history's most rapid in fact), dramatic decreases in infant mortality, and improved health

The professor also promulgates that this view on one of the deadliest dictators in history is “fair and balanced.”
People say I 'idolize' Stalin. Not true, I hold a fair and balanced view. The man was neither savior nor saint, but he was, at once, a very successful revolutionary, a great contributor to Marxist theory, and said to be a great listener and collaborator during discussions

Not only is Dr. Bair a communist himself, he is using his platform as a professor to be a genocide-sympathizer.
