Fresh out of tears after crying the post-election night away with Barbara Boxer, liberal “comedian” Chelsea Handler launched a badly aimed Twitter dart at President Donald Trump’s son, Eric, on Monday after the president’s son announced he and his wife were expecting a new baby.
I guess one of @realDonaldTrump's sons is expecting a new baby. Just what we need. Another person with those jeans. Let's hope for a girl.

Putting aside the utter classlessness of the tweet itself, Twitter users immediately seized on Handler’s use of the word “jeans” instead of the grammatically correct “genes.”
And it. Was. Hilarious.
.@chelseahandler @realDonaldTrump these jeans? pic.twitter.com/OROg4aPB1J

.@chelseahandler @realDonaldTrump When you try to be a smart ass and use jeans instead of GENES... you might be a democrat

@chelseahandler @realDonaldTrump No getting around that 10th grade education Chelsea.

.@chelseahandler "JEANS" ... This is officially the first time Chelsea Handler has made me laugh.

A couple people slammed Handler for misspelling such a common word only a couple months after the Netflix host claimed First Lady Melania Trump “barely speaks English.”
@chelseahandler @realDonaldTrump how can you criticise a foreigners' English when you constantly make spelling and grammar mistakes?

@chelseahandler @realDonaldTrump So you make fun of someone who speaks 5 languages and you can barely speak one. #genes

But as funny as these responses are (and there were plenty more, I assure you), we’ll give the award for the best comeback to Eric Trump himself.

As for Handler, she attempted to defend herself later, tweeting:
Sorry about spelling mistake. I meant "genes," not "jeans." I'm a little stoned. What's your excuse?

Not good enough, Chels.
