Burger chain Wayback Burgers is set to offer a brand new milkshake with an unusual ingredient that might make your stomach turn.

Tomorrow the chain will unveil the new Oreo Mud Pie milkshake, which will feature Peruvian chocolate flavored cricket powder as an ingredient.

According to CNBC News, the new flavor started as an April Fools Day joke, but received rave reviews when tested at a Long Island, NY based Wayback Burgers restaurant in April.

In case you're worried about the bugs being caught in the wild, Wayback Burgers President John Eucalitto said the crickets are farm raised domestically.

The University of California-Riverside states the consumption of insects is defined as entomophagy, and revealed that insect parts are found in everything from broccoli to beer.

In case you can't wait to get your fix, chocolate cricket flour can also be found online.

CricketFlours.com offers a chocolate cricket powder that is packed with protein.

A serving of 2 tablespoons contains roughly 5.86 grams of protein, or 12% of your daily protein intake.
