If the U.K.’s Labour Party gets their way, those who refuse to kowtow to the left’s gender-bending ideology could find themselves facing jail time.
As if things couldn’t possibly get any stupider in the all-out assault on science, women, and basic common sense, the socialist-leaning Labour Party is attempting to amend the nation’s criminal code to file attacks on trans persons under “aggravated offences,” treating them the same as other hate crimes based on the victim's race or religion.
And by “attacks,” critics warn, they mean everything from assault and harassment to simply not affirming a person’s gender “identity” by using their preferred pronouns, an infraction that under the new law could carry a jail sentence of up to two years.
The Daily Mail reports some are concerned that under the rule, biological women could be thrown in prison for standing up for themselves against biological men trying to invade their private spaces.
Caroline Ffiske from Conservatives for Women said: ‘Thousands of women dispute the notion of 'gender identity' and particularly the idea that it should be prioritised over biological sex.
'We have serious and legitimate concerns over being expected, in the workplace, when using public services or in private life, to refer to a man as 'she/her'.
'Is there a risk with this policy that a woman could be accused of harassment for correctly sexing a man and then for that to be treated as an aggravated offence?’
Others are rightly worried that the law curtails the natural free speech rights - which aren't codified in Great Britain - of those who don't buy into the unscientific idea that a person can simply switch genders.

Unfortunately, such insanity isn’t without precedent in the U.K. In August of 2022, a Christian street preacher was arrested, held for 14 hours, prosecuted, fined, sentenced to 80 hours of community service, and finally referred to a terror watchlist after referring to a clearly male transgender “woman” as a “gentleman” and using male pronouns during a verbal altercation - started, of course, by the trans person.
In 2019, British mom 39-year-old Kate Scottow was arrested in front of her children for “malicious communication” for “misgendering” a trans person online.
