In case you needed another reason not to listen to Rihanna - other than the trash she calls “music” - here you go.
The Barbadian pop singer was almost unrecognizable on the cover of Interview Magazine's latest issue. But it’s not her garish red lipstick and 1992-era blue eyeshadow that’s sparking backlash. Critics and fans alike weren’t happy about her posing in an outfit styled after a Catholic nun’s habit, complete with an unbuttoned top and a cross drawn on her cheek. And the video from the photo shoot is even worse.
This video of @rihanna is blasphemous and DEMONIC!!

Christianity is under attack!! WAKE UP!!! pic.twitter.com/GSPiKlox0f
And the internet was all too happy to let her know their thoughts in the comments section.
Dear Rihanna, to inspire religious inclusion, we ask for you to recreate this with a hijab.

Rihanna just spit in the face of every practicing Catholic in this country and around the world.

Of course, if Rihanna thinks she’s being edgy and groundbreaking in her open mockery of Christianity, she’ll need to get in line - it’s practically clogged with desperate celebs at this point, all clamoring for the public’s attention. Then again, I’m not sure the public’s opinion is the one I’d be most worried about, if were them.
