While fellow Hamas Caucus member Rashida Tlaib was busy barking into a bullhorn to a pro-Palestine rally outside the U.S. Capitol accusing Israel of bombing a Gaza hospital and deliberately murdering kids, Rep. Ilhan “Some People Did Something” Omar’s office began slowly walking back her earlier claims that the Jews were responsible for the bombing.

After it turned out that, well, they weren’t.

“Our office cited an AP report yesterday that the IDF had hit a Baptist hospital in Gaza. Since then, the IDF denied responsibility and the US intelligence assessment is that this was not done by Israel,” Omar posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday evening.

“It is a reminder that information is often unreliable and disputed in the fog of war (especially on Twitter where misinformation is rampant). We all have a responsibility to ensure information we are sharing is from credible sources and to acknowledge as new reports come in,” she added, stopping short of admitting that she herself had been duped by Hamas lies and had amplified anti-Israel propaganda that was used to fuel violent and destructive anti-Semitic protests around the world.

Omar ended her non-apology by demanding a full investigation to “determine conclusively who is responsible for this war crime.”

Because all the video footage just isn’t enough for the woman who so desperately needs Israelis to be barbaric child-murders just like the terrorists for whom she shills.

For now, I suppose we’ll have to make do with this mea-not-really-culpa. It’s the closest thing to an apology as we’re gonna get.

Meaning, you know, it’s not one.
