Yet another man has graced Glamour’s “Women of the Year” list: Bono.

On Tuesday morning, Glamour tweeted out its “Women of the Year.” In addition to naming Olympic athletes, #BlackLivesMatter activists, and Gwen Stefani as admirable women worthy of praise, Bono made the list as Glamour’s first “Man of the Year”:

According to Glamour’s article announcing its “Women of the Year List,” Bono deserves his place among women for his work with ONE, which helps fight against AIDS, and for creating “Poverty is Sexist,” a group dedicated to finding a connection between poverty and gender.

On his “Poverty is Sexist” initiative, Bono reportedly said, “The battle for gender equality can’t be won unless men lead it along with women. We’re largely responsible for the problem, so we have to be involved in the solutions.”

Cindi Leive, the editor-in-chief for Glamour, told CBS Boston, “We’ve talked for years about whether to honor a man at Women of the Year and we’ve always kind of put the kabash on it. You know, men get a lot of awards and aren’t exactly hurting in the celebration and honors department.”

“But it started to seem that that might be an outdated way of looking at things, and there are so many men who really are doing wonderful things for women these days,” she continued. “Some men get it and Bono is one of those guys.”

In 2015, Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) was controversially named as one of Glamour’s “Women of the Year”—despite being a biological man.
