During his opening remarks at the White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism, Vice President Joe Biden said that he knows a lot of Somalis because an “awful lot of them” drive Delaware cabs.

“If you ever come to the train station with me, you’ll notice that I have great relationships with [Somalis] because there’s an awful lot of them driving cabs and are friends of mine,” Biden said.

“For real,” he added, as if we weren’t already convinced.
