Newly released emails by WikiLeaks shows U.S. Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs Peter Kadzik gave Hillary Clinton’s campaign a “heads up” about what would be discussed during the oversight hearing on Clinton’s email scandal.

In an email from Kadzik to Podesta titled, “Heads up,” Kadzik wrote about the “likely questions” that will happen during the hearing:

There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify. Likely to get questions on State Department emails. Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.

Podesta then forwarded the email to other members of the Clinton campaign and added, “Additional chances for mischief.”

Another email recently released by WikiLeaks shows Podesta praising Kadzik for helping stay “out of jail”:

Willing to help. Fantastic lawyer. Kept me out of jail. I'm sure Christine knows him. Wants to help. Think he would be an excellent vet lead

A man who appears to be Kadzik’s son also seems to have emailed the Clinton campaign for a job.

Kadzik will be assisting with the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s email controversy in light of new information found during the investigation into Anthony Weiner’s underage sexting scandal.

According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, Kadzik is also a Clinton donor.
