Approval of Obamacare Hits Record Low as 2nd Enrollment Period Begins

As the second enrollment period for Obamacare began on Saturday, a new Gallup survey found that the law is less popular than it’s ever been since it was enacted.

The survey found a record low of 37% of Americans who approve of the Affordable Care Act, while a record high 56% disapprove.

Additionally, only 33% of Independents approve of the health care law.

The most recent survey was taken several days after Republicans won control of the U.S. Senate in the mid-term elections - though, disapproval of the law has been on the rise since June.

The survey ended on the 9th of November before the public learned of comments made by Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber, in which he admitted that the law was intentionally written in a deceptive manner in order to gain the support of the American people.
