At a White House press briefing, ABC's Jonathan Karl grilled White House Press Secretary Jay Carney asking, "If you can't even get the congress to agree on a date for a speech without a political sideshow, how can the American people expect you can do something much more difficult- come up with a jobs plan, deal with the deficit?
