A new Yahoo/Marist poll indicated something that many have always suspected -- if you supported Hillary Clinton in 2016, you were probably high.
Well, okay, only two-thirds of adults that use marijuana (68 percent) supported Clinton.
Overall, 22 percent of American adults claimed to use marijuana (an estimated 54,510,216 people) according to the poll.
Some other interesting results from the “Weed & The American Family” poll:
Among adults that use marijuana:
- 52% are Millennials
- 54% earn less than $50,000 a year.
- 69% do not have a college degree.
- 71% do not practice a religion.
- 53% characterize themselves as liberal or very liberal.
- 32% supported Trump in the 2016 election.
- 52% of Americans 18 and older have tried marijuana.
- 44% of those that have tried it, currently use it.
