    The National Rifle Association is endorsing the highest number of House Democrats it ever has this election cycle: 64.

The NRA's 'pro-incumbent' policy of endorsement works in such a way that if an incumbent and challenger earn the same ratings from the group, the incumbent receives the endorsement.

Despite the NRA endorsing the most Democrats it ever has this year, it should be noted the NRA is still backing a larger number of Republicans. They plan to spend $15-20 million this fall on the election.
