UCLA Latino Institute Blames Cops for Conflict with 'Peaceful Protesters' on Campus

No matter how much I disagree with the indoctrinated, entitled children on college campuses parroting what their Marxist professors have brainwashed them with — using very little actual truth — I also acknowledge their right to assemble and protest despite their ignorance. But when they make excuses for their bad behavior by constantly playing the victim, it gets tiresome and I’m glad the cops arrest people who are essentially squatting and destroying property.

I don’t think they realized who I am, what I do and what my beliefs are, but a representative from UCLA’s Latino Policy and Politics Institute (LPPI) sent me an email with a statement that put the entire blame for the conflict on that campus on police, without even a shred of acknowledgment that any “peaceful protester” did anything wrong.

“The forceful removal of student protesters by the Los Angeles Police Department is not only disturbing,” the statement said, “but it was also a total abdication of our promise to keep students safe from harm. It was a dark day for UCLA.”

Was it a dark day when “peaceful protesters” would say “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” “From the river to the sea” or “Intifada,” basically calling for the genocide of Jews?

There’s also a difference between protesting and occupying school grounds, grounds that certain students had to procure a wristband to enter or the mob wouldn’t let them through.

It’s also known at this point that a portion of “peaceful protesters” on campuses across the country, including UCLA, weren’t students at all, but outside, paid agitators.

“We are troubled by the use of force against students who were participating in a peaceful assembly and who were victims of violence themselves the night before,” the statement continued. “The escalation of violence and reports of the deployment of measures such as rubber bullets against peaceful protesters are alarming and have absolutely no place at the No. 1 public university in the U.S.”

Maybe don’t act like criminals or commit crimes, or even do things that the university and campus police repeatedly asked you not to do, and you won’t get treated like criminals. Simple.

But, I guess that’s too nuanced a concept for college students these days, since the ones that typically partake in these protests don’t have an original thought in their heads.

LPPI ended the statement by signing off with the phrase “In solidarity.” Tell us you’re Marxists without telling us you’re Marxists.

Maybe know who you’re emailing before you send them a statement that the recipient can factually shred in two seconds.
