This isn’t smack talk. This is just an objective opinion, but some people are just flat out dumb. Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is such a person.
This isn’t going to take long, because it’s not like I’m explaining something concerning AOC that involves nuance. But apparently, Ocasio-Cortez needs an explanation as to why the New York Police Department (NYPD) would deploy their counterterrorism unit to oversee pro-Hamas protests at Columbia University and around the city.
Not only did Columbia make the horrific decision to mobilize NYPD on their own students, but the units called in have some of the most violent reputations on the force.

Oh, I don’t know. Could it be because some of these protesters are openly calling for violence against the United States in the name of a terrorist organization? Could it be because these same cowards, who wear masks because they know they’re wrong, are chanting “Death to America?”

As I said in this week’s Things That Need To Be Said, the one thing you’ll never see these wastes of space do is put their money where their bullhorns are and go to the conflict area in the Middle East and support the people they claim to support.
They’d sooner, and literally light themselves on fire to show their faux virtue rather than do something other than cry for attention.
Ocasio-Cortez needs to look up and search her brain in order to figure out why people might take terrorist sympathizers seriously and send counterterrorism units to monitor them.
