Remember when CBS’s “60 Minutes” actually used to fairly investigate Democrat scandals? Mark Levin does.
On Wednesday, the iconic conservative commentator reminisced on social media about the days when a less-biased media investigated, and reported on, Democrats’ dubious dealings:
“Once upon a time, there was a media that confronted and exposed crooked, fascist Nancy Pelosi. Not today. She's celebrated for her anti-Trump, anti-Netanyahu, anti-Israel, pro-Hamas, pro-open borders, pro-crime, pro-Biden views.”
Levin included a video clip of 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft relentlessly questioning Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) about the conflict of interest of her both investing in, and voting on, credit card companies.
Of course, Levin had to go back 12 years to find a clip of 60 Minutes performing a serious investigation of a Democrat scandal.

Levin links to a YouTube video posted on February 8, 2012 by then-House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.). In it, Kroft asks Pelosi whether she thinks her behavior constitutes a conflict of interest:
“I want to ask you why you and your husband, back in March of 2008, accepted and participated in a very large IPO deal from VISA, at a time when there was major legislation affecting the credit card companies making its way through the House.
“Would you consider that to be a conflict of interest?”
Pelosi responds to the straightforward question with a condescending, obtuse display of hubris:
“I don’t know what your point is, of your question. Is there some point you want to make with that?”
“The fact is your basic premise is a false one,” Pelosi claims, prompting Kroft to repeat the facts:
“I don’t understand: why is this false? You participated in the IPO and at the time you were Speaker of the House.”
“But, I have many investments,” Pelosi says, interrupting Kroft.
“Why isn't crooked, fascist Nancy Pelosi under criminal investigation?” Levin asked in an earlier post on Wednesday, linking to a 2022 article by The New York Post reporting that “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has accrued millions from husb and’s trades.”
“Corrupt, fascist Nancy Pelosi joined her party's Hamas wing to cut off arms from Israel,” Levin followed up, linking to an April 5 article in The Guardian reporting that Pelosi is calling for the U.S. to stop providing support to Israel’s fight to eliminate Hamas, the terrorist group that launched a deadly attack on the Middle Eastern democracy:
“More than three dozen congressional Democrats – including representative Nancy Pelosi, the former House speaker and a key Joe Biden ally – signed a letter to the president and the secretary of state Antony Blinken, urging a halt to weapons transfers to Israel.
“In light of the recent strike against aid workers and the ever-worsening humanitarian crisis, we believe it is unjustifiable to approve these weapons transfers,” the letter said. It was signed by Pelosi and 36 other Democrats including Representatives Barbara Lee, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”
