A group of illegal aliens has now set up an illegal encampment in Denver, Colorado, where they’ve promised to squat until the city meets their - get this - “list of demands” for what taxpayers have to provide them.
Armed with tents and camping gear that had to have come from somewhere (I don't see too many illegals shlepping piles of North Face with them over the Rio Grande, do you?), hordes of illegal aliens - some with small children in tow - have set up camp under an overpass in what can only be described as a San Francisco-esque Hooverville, saying they'll only agree to move back into Denvers tax-funded city shelters if the city agrees to their demands - which include things like "culturally appropriate" food and cooking privileges, bottomless hot water, free medical care, lawyers, and unlimited housing.

Here are their actual demands, I crap you not. This is the honest-to-God written list as described by these illegal aliens who think it’s your responsibility to make sure they get all the stuff they want:
- Migrants will cook their own food with fresh, culturally appropriate ingredients provided by the City instead of premade meals – rice, chicken, flour, oil, butter, tomatoes, onions, etc. Also people will not be punished for bringing in & eating outside food.
- Shower access will be available without time limits & can be accessed whenever – we are not in the military, we’re civilians.
- Medical professional visits will happen regularly & referrals/connections for specialty care will be made as needed.
- All will receive the same housing support that has been offered to others. They cannot kick people out in 30 days without something stable established.
- There needs to be a clear, just process before exiting someone for any reason – including verbal, written & final warnings.
- All shelter residents will receive connection to employment support, including work permit applications for those who qualify.
- Consultations for each person/family with a free immigration lawyer must be arranged to discuss/progress their cases, & then the City will provide on-going legal support in the form of immigration document clinics & including transportation to relevant court dates.
- The City will provide privacy for families/individuals within the shelter.
- No more verbal or physical or mental abuse will be permitted from the staff, including no sheriff sleeping inside & monitoring 24/7 – we are not criminals & won’t be treated as such.
- Transportation for all children to & from their schools will be provided until they finish in 3 weeks.
- No separating families, regardless of if family members have children or not. The camp will stay together.
- The City must schedule a meeting with the Mayor & those directly involved in running the Newcomer program ASAP to discuss further improvements & ways to support migrants.
- The City must provide all residents with a document signed by a City official in English & Spanish with all of these demands that includes a number to call to report mistreatment.
Because having a whole bunch of people cooking their own food in a shelter is totally not a fire or safety hazard, and will absolutely not lead to food-born pathogens or all manner of health and hygiene problems. Also, there's no way that providing unlimited water, food, privacy, housing, medical care, and legal assistance won't absolutely bankrupt the city, right? After all, it's a fantastic idea to import millions of people who have no legal right to be in this country, tell them they'll get free room and board, then hook them up with bleeding heart leftists who have nothing but dreams and unicorn dust where their brains should be.
Maybe these idiots are getting pointers from the Pampers Party over at one of these schools on how to scream and throw your peas and carrots on the floor. In fact, one professional agitator who goes by the name "V" (they/them - yes, one of those) with some pro-illegal alien organization over in Denver (there are a ton of them and frankly, I don't care) called an “emergency press conference” to claim there's a “parallel” between what migrants in the United States are facing and the Palestinians in Gaza.

By the way, the city of Denver - just that one city, among many that have been completely overtaken by Biden’s illegal aliens - estimates it has already spent $69 million to assist migrants since December 2022, with $25 million going toward providing housing alone. The city's 2024 "newcomer" budget allocates another $90 million in illegal alien support, with $51.7 million earmarked for housing and food.
